Rotating only even pages by 180° corrects this without affecting the correctly oriented odd pages. Alternatively, if the scanner produced the reverse situation — all odd pages upside down — rotating only odd pages by 180° fixes it.

The all-pages rotation is appropriate when the entire document was placed in the scanner sideways or upside down, which happens frequently with flatbed scanners when documents are placed without checking the orientation arrow.
