Terms of Use

Last updated: May 2026

Acceptance

By using PDF99, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What you can do

PDF99 is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may use our tools to process documents you own or have the legal right to process.

What you cannot do

No warranties

PDF99 is provided "as is". We work hard to keep tools reliable and accurate, but we make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or error-free results. Always keep a backup of important documents before processing them with any online tool.

Limitation of liability

PDF99 and its operators are not liable for any loss of data, business interruption, or damages arising from use of the service — including any errors in file processing.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Questions

Contact us with any questions about these terms.

Intellectual property

The content of files you upload remains entirely your property. PDF99 does not claim any rights over documents you process through our tools. By uploading a file, you confirm you have the right to process it and that doing so does not infringe anyone else's intellectual property or other rights.

The PDF99 website, branding, and original code are our property. You may not copy, scrape, or reproduce the site or its content without permission. The open-source libraries we use (jsPDF, PDF-lib, PDF.js) are subject to their respective open-source licences, which are permissive and allow use in both personal and commercial contexts.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not offer a service level agreement. PDF99 is a free service provided without a formal service contract. Planned maintenance, infrastructure incidents, and unexpected outages can and do occur. We do not accept liability for missed deadlines, lost work, or business losses resulting from service unavailability or errors in processing output.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes arising from your use of PDF99 should be submitted to the jurisdiction where the service operator is located. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve disputes amicably before any formal process.
